Michael founded Guardian in 1989, after two decades working overseas that included senior roles at the World Bank.
What he did not find on returning to Australia was the personalised service and individually constructed portfolios he believed clients deserved, so he built a firm around that idea. A number of those first clients, and their families, remain with us today.
